allow user to send private messages

It could be nice to have an Environment layer where people can post pictures, videos... of what they see and then the city council or who is responsible to solve it can access to and when it is solved can marked it as 'Solved' and posting a new image/video showing how it looks now.

This is an idea I was working on but I think you have done a great job with your yodamap and can be integrated here.

A layer to sell/buy/share second hand products.
It could be like a second hand market based on map.
The name of the layer could be "New Life" that sounds more possitive

Spoofing is a big problem on yodamap meant to intimidate those whos points and arguments cannot be argued against by rational means. this hole in the program leaves childish antics running rampant on the part of the conservatives here.

Have the ability to follow specific threads and receive notifications( like we do if we had posted it) or be able to hide threads we dont want to show up in the list to read.

Would be good if your stats from Yodamap would be synced with facebook status updates.

On the PC interface it says I am in Stroud and won't let me change it. I am actually in the Midlands... Miles away.

for example, I want to post a office for hire at our "other" business area located 400 km from where I am presently.

If I read a post and have no interest in either posting or reading posts on that subject, it would be nice to just be able to delete it off my own map.

I'd love to be able to get an alert when a specific person posts an thread. Some people are very interesting and some people aren't but it's difficult to keep checking for people that move around (ie truck drivers).

This would be very unique and interesting I believe. P.S. I love votermap, best app I have. Thanks
